Thank you for your letter. After inspection of the GCR, it was determined that there's sufficient ability in the current rules for
cam shafts, cam gears, rockers, sensors, wiring, and ECU's for stock Variable Lift & Timing systems (VANOS, VTEC, VVT-i, etc.) to
be legally disabled or removed within them. This determination is being published as an "FYI".
