GCR section 1.2.3.D

In Interpreting and Applying the GCR, GCR section 1.2.3, change as follows:
"D. (Effective 06-01-2023) The interpretation and application of the GCR by SCCA officials is final and binding. To promote the
sport of automobile competition; to achieve prompt finality in competition results; and to recognize the numerous benefits to
them, all members expressly agree that:
1. The CRB determines the intent of a specific rule. The CRB's determination will overrides a participant member's interpretation
of a rule. The intent of a rule will be determined by the CRB. If any rule is unclear to the participant, the participant is advised toobtain written approval by submitting a compliance review request under GCR section 8.1.4 prior to making any modification.
2. If a member believes a rule is unclear, the member may seek clarification from the CRB before the start of an event

3. Determination of the intent of a rule during an event is limited to those situations in which either the SOM or the Court of
Appeals concludes that a rule is unclear or ambiguous as written.
4. If a rule is unclear to SCCA staff or officials, they may seek clarification from the CRB at any time
through www.clubracingboard.com or by other means.
a. The CRB will not unilaterally engage in an appeal, overturn an appeal, or override a steward's action during an event.
b. The Court of Appeals or stewards will use the CRB's clarifications in rendering decisions.2. 5. SCCA officials' determinations are non-litigable;.3. a. They Members will not initiate or maintain litigation of any kind against SCCA or anyone acting on behalf of SCCA
to enjoin, reverse, or modify such determinations, or seek to recover damages or other relief allegedly incurred or required as a
result of such determinations; and.4. b. Any member who initiates or maintains litigation in violating violation of this provision agrees to reimburse indemnify and
hold harmless SCCA, its employees, agents, and members for all costs of litigation, losses, damages, injuries, judgments,
awards, including travel expenses, and attorneys' fees incurred or sustained as a result thereof."
