Thank you for your letter. No changes are being proposed to GCR Section 9.3.26 "Fuel Cell Specification" that will affect
Production cars. Per that section, any Production classified vehicle can run a stock fuel tank, provided "the stock fuel tank is
located between the axle center lines and within the main chassis structure (i.e., frame rails, etc.)", or is otherwise allowed on its
spec line.
