In Appendix F. Technical Glossary, SIR testing procedure, add the following:
"(Effective 9/1/2023) The intake system shall be visually inspected for devices and design that could result in induction of
additional air that did not pass through the SIR; other procedures may be used to determine if an unauthorized means is being
used to stall the vehicle or to allow air to bypass the SIR."
