The Club Racing Board is seeking member input on the possible use of driver arm restraints in lieu of window nets in cars
currently required to use window nets. Please reply via the CRB letter log system.

Thank you for your letter with ideas for a better racing experience in SCCA Club Racing. When considering
changes to existing safety rules there is usually an example of how the change is necessary to improve a
shortcoming of the existing rule. To implement an either or rule would impact the various reporting
observers having to figure out which option has been chosen and have all the correct actions been taken.
The closed cockpit Sport Racers referenced do not have open windows.
