Thank you for your letter. Per 9.3.28, this request needs to be addressed to the Road Racing Technical Manager for approval:
“9.3.28. HAND CONTROLS: Hand controls may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Such approval shall be in writing from the
Road Racing Technical Manager and shall be in the driver’s possession at all competitions.”
