Thank you for your letter. The Club Racing Board does not recommend this change. SRF/SRF3 cars have used these tires for nine
years and to the overall satisfaction of the participants. Enterprises and Hoosier developed the tire to provide 10-12 heat cycles
with very limited lap time deviations, and the tire has generally performed on that level. In addition, marking the SRF3 tires
would be a staffing and timing problem for our volunteers due to the large fields of SRF3 cars entered at most U.S. Majors
events.
