Thank you for your letter. The shortened event will achieve savings in lodging, meals, and time away from home/work. It also
helps in staffing the event. Testing revenue helps to offset the costs of Runoffs for all and, but for that revenue entry fees
would be significantly higher. As you note the program does not and was not intended to impact Regionals which are separate
and distinct from Majors/HST. Those are intended to be focused upon the local demands. Prior to introduction of the Major's
program the sole path to Runoffs was though National events. We appreciate your continued support of SCCA's Road Racing
Program and hope to see you on the grid in 2025.
