run groups vs class consolidation
#36621 from MICHAEL DEVINS · No action required · Minutes (2024-11 Fastrack)
Thank you for your letter and support of the P1 and P2 classes. The CRB and BoD have heard from the membership that
competition and run groupings are important and strongly believe that the Runoffs should represent the best of the best in
U.S. Road Racing. The steps that have been proposed and are in the initial stages of implementation are aimed at improving
competition and shortening the Runoffs for the benefit of both competitors and volunteers alike. The system is designed to
encourage and reward the best classes and competitors. The classes that are invited to the Runoffs are not fixed, only the
number.
