Thank you for your letter. The Club Racing Board appreciates your comments. A meeting was held between stakeholders in the
Prototype classes and several members of the BoD during the Runoffs. Based upon participation history and other factors it is
believed that merger is the appropriate path to take as without such both P1 and P2 would be at risk of losing an invitation to
the 2025 Runoffs. P2 rules will remain in the GCR and cars can compete under that rule set in the Prototype class in 2025.
