Thank you for your letter and the outstanding work on your survey. Your discussions with the members of the BoD at the
Runoffs have been reviewed and considered by the BoD liaisons, Staff, and CRB. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a
valid reason to reverse course on the planned merger of P1 and P2. An exception has been made so that the P2 rule set will
remain in the GCR and P2 will continue as a Majors class in 2025. Further, P2 participants can run in the new P class without
any cost or modification to their car; this class will be participating at the 2025 Runoffs.
