Request to Add Weight

Thank you for your letter. Adding 50lbs to every platform has BOP implications that would need to be thoroughly investigated,
so at this time SMAC does not support adding weight across the board to all platforms. In the interest of safety relating to the
RA accident, SMAC did request some clarity on cage installation rules specifically in SM that will make the car a little bit lighter
and more importantly easier to weld cages into the car, get proper 360 degree welds on the main hoop and open up a path to
install additional tubes that may better protect the fuel tank.
