GCR Section 3.1.1.D U.S. Majors Tour Event Format Change

In GCR, Section 3.1.1.D., change as follows:
“D. (Effective 3/1/2025) Event Format/Schedule
The National Office has developed standard formats for each type of U.S. Majors Tour event. Standard formats may
be altered on a limited, case-by-case basis by the Head of Road Racing in coordination with the Chairman of the
Club Racing Board.
1. Conference Eventsa. The National Office has developed standard formats for each type of U.S. Majors Tour event.b. a. There shall be a maximum of two (2) races per race weekend. At least one race for each race group

will be a minimum of 45 miles. The other race of the weekend shall be a minimum of 20 minutes in
length.c. b. Minimum track time
1. Two-day events shall have a minimum of 35 minutes of non-racing track time available per
Majors class entry. Two qualifying sessions are recommended.
2. Three-day events shall have a minimum of 50 minutes of non-racing track time available per
Majors class entry. Two qualifying sessions are recommended. End-of-session hardship policy is
recommended.
2. Super Tour Eventsa. The National Office has developed standard formats for each type of U.S. Majors Tour event, and workswith Regions to create a specific schedule, which must be approved by the Head of Road Racing, who hasfinal authority.b. a. There shall be a maximum of two (2) races per race weekend. At least one race for each race group
will be 35 minutes in length with a maximum of 50 miles (variations may be approved by the head of Road
Racing and published in the supplemental regulations). The other race of the weekend shall be a
minimum of 25 minutes in length.c. b. Minimum track time
1. Two-day events shall have a minimum of two (2) qualifying sessions totaling at least 35 minutes
of non-racing track time available per Majors class entry.
Three-day events shall have a minimum of one practice session and one qualifying sessions totaling at least 50 minutes of
non-racing track time available per Majors class entry. Two qualifying sessions are recommended. End-of-session hardship

In GCR, Section 3.1.1.A., change as follows:
"(Effective 3/1/2025) A. Types of U.S. Majors Tour Event
1. Conference Events
Points earned in Conference races in Majors-eligible classes will count toward Conference Championships (see 3.7.2). Drivers
in Majors-eligible classes that are also invited to included in the Runoffs will earn participation credit for the toward National
Championships Runoffs eligibility (see 3.7.4). There may be a non-Majors eligible component of an event (see 3.1.1.E.2).
Bonus Majors Classes: Bonus Majors are intended to offer a replacement Conference Majors event opportunity for specific
classes that are Majors-eligible, but not Super Tour-eligible. At designated Regional events, the Head of Road Racing may
designate select classes as “Bonus Majors” eligible. Bonus Majors events and races will count toward Conference Championships
and Runoffs eligibility the same as a Conference Majors event. At select Regional events Majors-eligible classes may bedesignated to receive points that will count towards the Conference Majors Championship (see 3.7.2) within which the event isheld, together with participation credit for purposes of the National Championship Runoffs (see 3.7.4). This option, to beexercised by the CRB with assistance from the Head of Road Racing, is intended to provide additional opportunities for classesthat are not eligible for Super Tour events or to otherwise improve participation and competition in other classes. Competitorswill find information on the classes eligible and the structure for each event on the SCCA website and in the SupplementalRegulations.
2. Super Tour EventsSuper Tour Events are specially-designated Conference Events that include additional enhancements. Aselect number of Majors eligible classes will be designated by the CRB no later than December 1st as Super Tour-classes for thefollowing season. Points earned in Super Tour Events in will count toward the Conference Majors Championships (see 3.7.2), and
the Super Tour Championship (see 3.7.3) for Super Tour-eligible classes (see 3.1.1.E). Drivers in Super Tour classes that are
also invited to included in the Runoffs will earn participation credit for the toward National Championships Runoffs
eligibility (see 3.7.4).
3. Festival Entry invitations are limited to the particular class(es) specified in the Supplemental Regulations.
Points earned in Festival events do not count toward Conference Championships.”
