Thank you for your letter. According to Mazda Factory Service Manual the head bolts are not a torque to yield and can therefore
be re-used. There is a process to torquing them, but they are not single use bolts. The national tech staff's policy on removing a
cylinder head at the track is to seal an engine until after the cars last on track session for the weekend before removing the
head. OEM head bolts are readily available for those that wish to carry extras in the trailer in the event of a tear down.
