Thank you for your letter. The TAC was apprehensive to class this car in T2 without any restriction on horsepower. During a
meeting with GM engineers, we were reassured that the car could not be restricted with a TIR. We agreed to class the car in T2
under the condition that the suspension components remain completely stock. Given the car's notable straight-line advantage,
we are not ready to improve its handling. If we could agree on some way to restrict horsepower, consistent with other front
running T2 cars, we would be willing to consider some traditional T2 handling allowances.
