C-Spec changed to Regional Only
#35187 from Josh Reinard · Taken care of · Minutes (2024-01 Fastrack)
Thank you for your letter. C-Spec was briefly referred to as T5 in the GCR and was designated as a regional only class in the
January Fastrack. However, that language was removed in the May Fastrack for T5/C-Spec.
Please see GCR section 9.1.12 "Runoffs Eligible Class Participation Requirements" for C-Spec's path to become a Runoffs-eligible
national class. Though C-Spec is now defined as regional only, per section 9.1.12.D, the CRB may choose to designate C-Spec as a
Runoffs Demonstration Class that would be eligible for the 2024 Runoffs. Should that decision be made, it will be published in a
future Fastrack.
