with the OEM manifold/approved Walker brand manifold competing at events. The BSAC will monitor the performance results
of these changes closely at HST events and the Runoffs over the coming months. Should data show that these cars are outside of
the desired performance window (I.E. too fast OR too slow) at their updated minimum weight, further BOP adjustments will be
made to ensure continued competitive parity. Data from a minimum of three drivers/vehicles from Majors or Super Tour

Committees are working together to better understand the future of C-Spec, and they plan to include the Road Racing Planning
Committee in further discussions, including ones about C-Spec's Majors eligibility and ultimate inclusion in future SCCA National
Championship Runoffs. It's good to hear feedback about the class, such as the tire struggles, so that issues can be addressed
allowing for growth within the class. While these discussions happen, we encourage all C-Spec participants to consider attending
Majors and Super Tour events running under T4.

Thank you for your letter. While C-Spec will likely have a spec tire at some point in the future, the committee will not
be specifying a tire for a regional class that has just begun its development.
While the Hoosier 225/45/17 is certainly wide for its stated size, there are examples of the first generation Mazda 3
racing in T4 with 245 Hoosiers at all four corners. Further, specifying the Toyo RR for the class would not be a wise
due to the fact that this tire is going to be phased out and replaced by Toyo at the end of this year.
Many of these vehicles came from the factory with optional 17-inch wheels. The reason that this diameter was
selected was because while some cars use a 4x100 bolt pattern, many of them utilize a 5x114 or similar bolt pattern.
Competition-grade 15-inch wheels are difficult to find in this bolt pattern, and 16-inch race tires are not commonly
available. The committee was also informed that there was a Mazda 3 that recently ran at Palmer in C-Spec trim with
the specified tires and had no clearance issues.

Thank you for your letter. The addition of aftermarket rear sway bars for C-Spec was not recommended by the committee at this
time as we would like to see more of these cars actually on track before approving additional parts. The committee is open to
permitting aftermarket sway bars in the future, but would likely do so across the entire category, not just for individual cars.
Additionally, aftermarket end links are already permitted in B/C-Spec under rule #36 "Adjustable sway bar end links may be used
on all cars." The committee understands this allowance is easy to miss as it is at the end of a long paragraph that covers various
aspects not related to these parts. We are slowly working towards revisions of the rules that will make them easier to read in the
future, especially given that B and C-Spec are now sharing a ruleset.

national class. Though C-Spec is now defined as regional only, per section 9.1.12.D, the CRB may choose to designate C-Spec as a
Runoffs Demonstration Class that would be eligible for the 2024 Runoffs. Should that decision be made, it will be published in a

In GCR, Section 9.1.10.36. add for the following:
"Suspension: B-Spec competitors may use the OEM suspension, the specific suspension kit approved on the spec line or any B14
Bilstein shock or strut with no modifications except as required for mounting or to achieve allowed camber. C-Spec competitors
may use the OEM Suspension, the specific suspension kit approved on the spec line or TBD, or the Red Shift BC Competition
Coilover Kit for that make and model. These kits are single adjustable, track-valved, and will be serialized, sealed and tamper-
proofed. Any camber plate may be used, but may not alter caster. Caster shall be within factory specification. Any part required
to adapt the B14’s to the car must be submitted for approval by the CRB and added to the individual spec line."
