Thank you for your letter. The answer to question 1 is the entire transmission section of the IT general rules (section 5). Stock
transaxle housing, section a. No modification of the number of gears... section c.
Also, the general intent (way up at the top) states "competition adjustments, other than as outlined in section 9.1.3.C, are not
allowed. Other than those specifically allowed by these rules, no component or part normally found on a stock example of a
given vehicle may be disabled, altered, or removed." Changing the stock caliper to a different version would be considered
altered.
If the GCR rules doesn’t say it can be changed. it can't be changed.
