Data Collection and Simplifying the Touring Classes

Thank you for your letter. The BOP in the touring classes is heavily dependent on real-world on-track data. Past results showed
that we needed to slow down the M2 CS. We are still waiting to see data that shows that change and the resulting BOP. The
use of a simple power to weight formula isn't of interest a practical basis for a good BOP. It does not take into consideration:
geometry, aero, gear ratios, torque, the shape of the HP curve, and so on. Even if we did start over with it, we would end up
right where we are, making adjustments using data.
