Based on the results of the 2025 SMX Tire RFP, please approve the following language in SMX section 9.1.7.1.d.16.:
"a. Dry tires: Hoosier SMX P225/40/17 Toyo RR P235/40/ZR17.
b. Wet tires: Hoosier SMXW P215/40/17 Toyo RA1 P235/40/ZR17.
c. SMX TIRE MARKING:
1. Effective 1/1/26 SMX cars are limited to one set of Hoosier SMX P225/40/17 Toyo RR P235/40/ZR17 per Hoosier Super Tour
event weekend for all dry qualifying and race sessions. This limitation does not include testing or practice sessions. Approved
rain tires will not be required to be marked.
2. A mandatory impound for all SMX competitors will occur after the first dry qualifying or race session. All tires will be marked

for the remainder of the race weekend. It is the competitor’s responsibility to report to impound and ensure their tires are
marked prior to leaving impound.
3. If a competitor damages a tire or wheel and there is a safety concern, the competitor must-find the Hoosier Super Tour Series
Tech Chief or SMX CCC, if assigned, for inspection. At the discretion of the Hoosier Super Tour Series Tech Chief of SMX CCC the
competitor may be allowed to substitute alternate used tires(s) to replace the damaged tire(s). New tires are not an option as a
replacement tire for a damaged tire.
Outgoing spec dry tire Toyo RR P235/40/17 and wet tire Toyo RA1 P235/40/17 may be continued to be used at conference
Majors and Regionals until 4/30/26."
